The research studies of IRBV professor Mohamed Hijri as well as those of André Fortin, retired professor and director of the institute, were featured in the January 23rd 2016 episode of La Semaine Verte on Radio-Canada. The topic for the complete episode was mycorrhizae, the underground fungus used more and more in forestry and agriculture as an alternative to pesticides.
