It is with great pride and pleasure that we are announcing that professor Étienne Laliberté was selected as a member of the Class of 2017 of the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists.

The prestigious Royal Society of Canada thus recognizes the excellence of our collegue’s achievements as well as his leadership in his field of research – functional plant ecology.

Étienne, whose application was submitted by professor Pierre Legendre, will be inducted in the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists during a ceremony to be held in Winnipeg on 24 November 2017.
