Danielle Dagenais is a specialist in garden design and ecology, plant identification, plant engineering and horticulture. She is particularly interested in biodiversity, human-plant relationships, the ecological discourse of landscape architecture and the concept of urban nature. Her most recent research focuses on design with plants and the technical aspects and landscape integration of phytotechnologies (green roofs, vegetated stormwater management systems, etc.).
