IRBV researchers Stéphanie Pellerin and Jacques Brisson participated in a vast study of sustainable management of wetlands. The results of the study were presented at an information session held on November 27, organized by the Quebec Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment, Fauna and Parks (Ministère du développement durable, environnement, faune et parcs). The study showed that the province of Quebec must undertake a major reform of wetlands management, based on two fundamental principles: a policy of no net loss, and application of management standards.
