Jacques Brisson and Michel Labrecque seek solution for Shanghai’s contaminated water and soil

JB 01-01IRBV researchers Jacques Brisson and Michel Labrecque, specialists in phytotechnology, will collaborate on a marsh filtration and phytoremediation project with Gilles Vincent, former director of the Montreal Botanical Garden and currently special advisor to the director of Chenshan (Shanghai) Botanical Garden. The aim of this vast research project is to set up experimental systems to treat both waste water and heavy metal-contaminated soils in the Shanghai region. The results will be beneficial for both China and Canada.
