M.Sc. project in Michel Labrecque's laboratory

Michel Labrecque’s phytoremediation laboratory is looking for a student for a master’s project in carbon phytosequestration. This project aims to set up a greenhouse gas capture laboratory on a large scale by plantation of fast-growing willows on the technical landfill site of Waste Management Inc. located in Sainte Sophie, Quebec. The final objective of the research project is to develop a protocol for the restoration of degraded sites and GHG reduction by carbon phytosequestration for the deployment of a standardized service at nationwide for industrial use.
