Audréanne Loiselle wins the national finals of Ma thèse en 180 secondes

After winning the finals of the Ma thèse en 180 secondes (My Thesis in 3 Minutes) contest for the Université de Montréal a few weeks ago, Audréanne Loiselle has now won first prize from the jury as well as first prize from the public at the national level, with her presentation titled “Synergies et compromis entre les fonctions et services écologiques de différents types de milieux humides de bord de lac”. Audréanne, a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Stéphanie Pellerin, had also won first prize in a science popularization contest at ACFAS last year.

She will therefore be participating in the international finals of the contest at the Théâtre Outremont on 6 October.

The complete list of 2022 winners can be found on the ACFAS website. Audréanne’s presentation can be heard (in French) at the 26th minute of the video found on the ACFAS’s Facebook page at the following link.
